SEK-CAP Girard HOME Project
Construction of Three Single-Family Homes – Girard, Kansas
SEK-CAP, Inc. is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for the construction of three
new single-family homes in Girard, Kansas. This project supports the development of safe,
affordable, accessible, and energy-efficient housing for local residents and is funded
through the HOME Program.
The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment,
supervision, permits, inspections, and related services necessary to complete the
construction of the homes in accordance with project plans, specifications, and applicable
federal, state, and local requirements.
Qualified contractors should have demonstrated experience in residential construction
and the capacity to successfully manage projects of similar size and complexity.
Compliance with Section 3 requirements, Section 504 accessibility standards, applicable
building codes, and 2009 IECC energy-efficiency standards will be required.
Contractors are encouraged to carefully review all bid documents, specifications, and
submission requirements included in this packet. Complete proposals must include all
required forms, supporting documentation, project qualifications, references, and pricing
information.
Sealed Bid Proposal Due Date: October 17, 2026, by 4:30 PM
Anticipated Contract Award: November 3, 2026
Preferred Project Start Date: December 2026
Target Completion Date: September 30, 2027
