SEK-CAP Will Stop Accepting Applicants for Tenant Based Rental Assistance
Program After 4:00pm Thursday December 28th, 2023

Southeast Kansas Community Action Program (SEK-CAP), one of the recipients of Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA) grant, will not accept applications for the TBRA program after 4:00pm on Thursday December 28th, 2023. Due to unprecedented response, SEK-CAP has received sufficient applications to meet the funding capacity for this grant year.

All applications received prior to this date and time will be processed. SEK-CAP will issue another press release to notify the public when the application process and waiting list is reopened.

Grants are awarded though the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation. The TBRA program assists qualifying individuals and families with rental subsidies and/or security and utility deposits. The SEK-CAP TBRA Program funding is used specifically to address the housing needs of those who are homeless or about to become homeless in the SEK-CAP twelve county southeast Kansas service area.

For more information about this program, please visit www.sek-cap.com or call (620)724-8204. This is an Equal Housing Opportunity.
