Community Input Wanted

The Southeast Kansas Community Action Program (SEK-CAP), in partnership with Project 17, is seeking input from all community members through an online survey.  The survey is designed to gain an understanding about what issues community members feel are most important to address, including economic development, health and wellness, and social service support. Results from the survey will be compiled to view the input as a region, but will also be broken out by county, and will inform leaders and policy makers on how best to impact long-term growth and prosperity for all of Southeast Kansas.

Project 17 is an effort launched by Southeast Kansas elected officials with the goal of engaging and motivating citizens in the Southeast Kansas region to improve our overall quality of life. They have partnered with SEK-CAP to conduct a comprehensive regional assessment of seventeen counties which will be used to make informed decisions about what our preferred future should look like rather than guess about what citizens in the region want.
