HOUSING SERVICES NOTICE - APRIL 27, 2020

 

SEK-CAP's Housing Department is still operational despite the public health challenges we are currently facing due to COVID-19. We are still providing affordable rental properties and rental assistance to low-income families in our southeast Kansas community. The current pandemic has prompted us to make some changes to the way we provide services so that our staff and customers are safe. This document is intended to make our customers and the general public aware of those changes:


Summary of COVID-19 Waivers & Impact on Services

 

TRANSPORTATION SERVICE UPDATE - APRIL 21, 2020

 

Scheduled rides WILL be available, however we will be limiting rides to medical and work only starting March 30, 2020 until May 4, 2020, at which time we will re-evaluate. Please call the Transportation Scheduling office, at (620)724-6350, to schedule rides.

 

IMPORTANT HOUSING UPDATE - APRIL 15, 2020

 

Due to COVID-19, the Public Hearing, scheduled for April 28, 2020, will be postponed until further notice. The purpose of the Hearing is to review proposed changes to the Housing Administrative Plan and the 5 Year Plan. We will make a public announcement at least 45 days prior to the rescheduled public hearing. We hope your will join us at a future date.
